We have some of the best chocolates in the world for you to try out and purchase. We choose all the chocolates ourselves, taste and test them and hence we personally guarantee their high quality and superb taste! We offer chocolates from small manufacturers with consistently high quality, repeatedly awarded at various competitions (especially by the Academy of Chocolate, International Chocolate Awards and the Great Taste).
The fresh new addition to our chocolate selection are our own Lidka chocolates! Handmade with love from bean to bar. We make our chocolate the same way it was manufactured here in Kutná Hora some 100 years ago, bringing back the long forgotten recipes and introducing our own ones. Our seasonal selection of chocolates - made with fresh and top quality ingredients - shall always satisfy the most demanding gourmet eaters. You simply have to try it out!
We offer a complete range of the Czech chocolate producer, the first one to open after the Velvet revolution, making chocolate from scratch - or shall we say from cocoa beans - and hence carrying on the Czech tradition of excellent chocolate making. The guys from Jordi's aspire to make the best chocolate in the world and they are indeed doing very well! British family-run chocolate producer, found in 1970. Their chocolate belongs among the top chocolates globally. Åkesson have their own plantations in Madagascar and Brazil and also supply other excellent chocolate makers with their beans. Their single-origin 75% chocolates and the ones flavoured with wild pepper are particularly luxurious. Bertil Åkesson is awarded regularly at all of the major international competitions.
A famly-run chocolate producer, found in 1884 at Voiron, France. They were the first ones to make single-origin chocolate (which means that they were using cocoa beans from a single plantation). This idea soon became popular all over the world and these days it is commonplace to have a chance to appreciate the unique flavours of various cocoa beans, as they differ greatly from region to region. At our store we can offer you Bonnat single-origin chocolate made with beans from Java, the Cuzco region in Mexico, the Kaori region in Africa, Cuba etc. We also have their original chocolate, made according to the recipe from 1884!
This is the largest producer whose chocolates we have in store. The production was started after the World War II in Normandy. The founders, Mr & Mrs Cluizel, ran a small cafe and started making chocolate in its kitchen. Now the company is run by their son Michel Cluizel and his children. Cluizel himself searches for interesting plantations, supports fair trade and makes not only the best chocolate bars but also marvelous pralines.
